| Dorothy is a compassionate facilitator whose personal yoga journey began nearly 16 years ago, for the past 10 years she has shared the benefits of yoga with her students. She believes that yoga should be a joyful experience that not only tones the body, but quiets the mind and opens the heart. Dorothy offers a safe and nurturing environment where each student is free to explore the benefits of yoga and find success in their personal practice. Classes are structured to accommodate multiple skill/fitness levels, providing alternative poses and modifications, often with props, for those with limited abilities, injuries or pregnancy. Dorothy has studied predominately in the Iyengar Technique, though her personal practice includes the Ashtanga Primary Series. She has studied extensively with Dorothy Tanous, Gwen Trigg and Jimmy Cardinale and has participated in workshops/trainings with, Annie Pace, Desiree Rumbaugh and Angela Farmer. |

| Gloria was first introduced to yoga 10 years ago while attending UC Santa Barbara. "I started to take yoga more seriously while living in Tokyo, Japan. I spent almost 3 years in Tokyo and was able to teach English there. I taught a couple of children and found that I had a knack for teaching kids. I have licensed a program called Yoga Buddies which is an amazing yoga curriculum that is designed to be added as an enrichment program for schools. I teach currently at Boise River Montessori and Lakewood Montessori. I have 2 little boys of my own and we practice yoga together as much as we can. Personally, I have been studying Iyengar yoga for the past 2 years. I have recently found that I am very fond of Vinyasa and Ashtanga yoga. I am very eager to continue my study of yoga in these 2 new disciplines. Yoga has brought so much into my life and I feel very blessed to be able to teach what I know to children. Teaching children has taught me many lessons and has brought so much inspiration to my life." |
